“ Hey fellow Yelpers! I have gone to the Xurro location on 63rd St. near Midway many times and it one of my fave dessert spots when I'm craving a sweet treat. The first time I went, I remember I got plain churros. My boyfriend suggested for me to try the vanilla filled churro and I can't look back since that day. Vanilla filled churros are my fave and go-to flavor especially when I go to Xurro. Mobile App: I highly recommend downloading the Xurro mobile app and placing your order that way or placing your order by phone. I usually order through their mobile app to make sure my points are in my account and can get discounts on future purchases. When you order online, the allotted time they give you is it will be ready in about an hour. I usually order ahead of time so but the time I get there, it's ready with little to no wait. I'm not sure how long it takes when you place an order right then and there, especially during busy hours, but I can only imagine. Food/Drink Items: There are many delicious options to choose from although churros are their speciality, they also have coffee, ice cream, etc. I feel old school for saying this or maybe this is just an old school flavor, but I find it hard to find establishments that have Superman ice cream. Xurro, at least the location on 63rd near Midway had Superman ice cream and I love it! The only other place I know that serves Superman ice cream is Huck Finn Restaurant. Customer Service: All the staff I've interacted with every time I go are always welcoming and friendly. My order is always correct & usually ready when I pick it up with doing a mobile or online order. Parking: Parking is really tricky on 63rd St. It's a hit or miss with parking. There's usually no parking when I go to Xurro, so I usually park near it and have my emergency lights on. Overall Experience: Overall, I always have a great experience whenever I come to Xurro. I highly recommend this place if you're craving churros and their churros taste wayyyy better than one you can get at a carnival during the summer time. “ For a chain, they certainly have the product (churros) down! I had a box of plain churros and they didn't disappoint. They came out warm and not overly coated with sugar. The oil they were fried in was fresh and pleasant. The cafe de la olla could have used a bit more cinnamon but it complimented the churros perfectly. ”
“ Delicious, freshly made churros, plain or in a variety of tasty fillings. Speaking of fillings, they are inserted into the fresh-from-the-fryer churro while you observe the process. Vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and other delightful choices are available. Prices are reasonable, and orders can be placed online and picked up in store. It's very clean, tastefully decorated, and welcoming. There's a huge opening to the back, so you can see the ladies prepare and fry the tasty treats! There are mini churros, with caramel or chocolate dipping sauces, good for snacking. Xurro also offers specialty coffee drinks to enjoy with the churros! Street parking is readily available. ”
